{"id":24767,"date":"2026-01-20T06:37:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T11:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/af.ca\/ottawa\/?page_id=24767"},"modified":"2026-02-04T11:02:50","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T16:02:50","slug":"exam-type-details","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/af.ca\/ottawa\/en\/exam-type-details\/","title":{"rendered":"Exam details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"13\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"13\">Important<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"15\" data-end=\"138\">It is not possible to take the test or exam online: the test is held on the premises of the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise in Ottawa.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"140\" data-end=\"289\">A non-refundable fee of $100 will be retained in the event of a cancellation or a request to change the test date before the registration deadline.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"291\" data-end=\"372\">No refund or test date change will be accepted after the registration deadline.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"561\">If a candidate is denied access to the examination room (for example, due to the absence of valid identification), the fees will not be refunded and a new registration will be required.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"778\">No credit or refund will be granted outside the deadlines mentioned above, except in the event of cancellation by the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise, in which case another date will be offered or a full refund will be issued.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"951\">Candidates will receive an official admission notice by email approximately 7 days before the test, including the exact schedule of the exams and the candidate handbook.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1026\">Please plan for a full day to complete the exams (8:00 a.m.\u20135:00 p.m.).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1180\"><strong data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1040\">TEF\/TCF:<\/strong> Candidates may take the test more than once, provided that a minimum interval of twenty (20) days is respected between two registrations.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1293\">Result certificates are personal and confidential.
