Re-evaluation for the writing and/or speaking components of the TCF test is possible through France Éducation international, under certain conditions. Please read the information below carefully before submitting your request.
Key information:
- Re-evaluation fee: CAD $100 per test component, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- Processing time: Requests are processed within 4 to 6 weeks from the date the complete file is sent to France Éducation international.
- Your request must be sent within 30 days after the results certificate was issued.
- Score changes: A re-evaluation may result in a higher or lower score.
- If a score is changed, only the revised certificate will be considered valid by Quebec and Canadian authorities, immigration authorities, and higher education institutions.
- In the event of a score change, the original certificate will no longer be valid.
How to request a re-evaluation
To submit a re-evaluation request, please complete all the following steps:
- Carefully review the key information.
- Purchase the re-evaluation service for the relevant test component(s) (Writing and/or Speaking).
- Download your payment receipt, which must be included with your request.
- Download the re-evaluation request form(s) from the email you received with your receipt and:
- Complete the required form(s);
- Sign each form by hand (electronic signatures are not accepted);
- Rename the PDF file(s) as follows:
For the writing component: last name_first name_recorrection_EE_test date
For the speaking component: last name_first name_recorrection_EO_test date

Once your request is complete and payment has been received, it will be forwarded to France Éducation international for processing.
